Reactive Stain
Floor Service Prime Old Grey Reactive Stain by Overmat. Is available in 3 intensities, I, V, X. Reactive stains work on woods with a high tannin content, for example, oak, beech, chestnut. The solution reacts with the tannic acid in the wood and changes the colour to a grey colour. With either of the 3 products, you can choose from a light grey fume, to dark grey/black.
Apply evenly by sprayer and spread out with a flat mop or t-bar. Allow the magic to happen as you see the clear solution on the floor change colour before your eyes. Allow to dry and apply a coloured hardwax oil on top. As the oil absorbs into the soft grain, you get a beautiful, and very trendy 2 tone effect on your floor.
Available in 5 Ltr containers, I light, V medium, X dark.
